Liberals will do what they always do. Stand behind their man when it matters, and then, 6 months from now, if Mubarak prevails, they will cry crocodile tears over the deaths and other brutalities inflicted upon the Egyptian people, expressing mystification as to why Obama hasn't done anything about it, or, even worse, rationalize it by observing, "well, you know, you can't expect him to go against Israel". Yes, you got that right, they will defend him by reference to a soft focus anti-semitism, if necessary.
