You should read Justin's Dancing With the Stars and Stripes.
(But I'd put my un-money on Chavez. It's been weeks since an MSNBC retired brasser or Foxpundit used the words "Monroe Doctrine". Plus, there's a king's levy of nativists just waiting to get breathless about the connections between Iran, Venezuela and Mexico...)

"...What sort of meager, unerotic existence must a man live to find himself moved to such ecstatic heights by the mundane sniping of a congressional budget fight. The fate of human existence does not hang in the balance. The gods are not arrayed on either side. Poseiden, earth-shaker, has regrettably set his sights on the poor fishermen of northern Japan and not on Washington, D.C. where his ire might do some good--I can think of no better spot for a little wetland reclamation project, if you know what I mean. The fight is neither revolution nor apocalypse; it is hardly even a fight. A lot of apparatchiks are moving a lot of phony numbers with more zeros than a century of soccer scores around, weaving a brittle chrysalis around a gross worm that, some time hence, will emerge, untransformed, still a worm." ~ IOZ

I considered Chavez, but I figured he is even staler than Iran with all the 'he's a scary socialist stuff that went nowhere' after Dubya's coup attempt failed. You could gin up a case for sure though, and America loves second and third acts as Saddam Hussein and Qaddafi most recently found out.
I am going with Africa. I think we could afford to reallocate a significant amount of our national hatred in fear to the dark continent without missing a beat, its already got it going on right there in the nickname! In fact, I double-think so!
Chavez is sitting on oil, a Vichy regime is waiting in the wings, the Castros have almost lost Cuba the Disney Project and the Colombian state is a begging for a larger American military presence.
Plus, there are almost no Americans willing to go to bat for him, leaving Joe For Oil all alone, and with him being a Kennedy, a good nod the red meat nativists who think Kennedy = Communist.
...or, Yemen:
