Gratitude to RealityZone for this video, which illustrates in moving picture the culmination of nasty Israeli Hitlerism:
Israel, as I wrote a year ago, is the last bastion of successful nationalist fascism. It is funded and kept in arms by the soft supranational fascism of the American corporate state. The American state embraces the liberal tolerances stolen and appropriated from the labor, civil rights, feminist and gay rights movements which it crushed and criminalized until it was prepared to incorporate them as a spectacular masks and tolerated identities.
The Israeli state is a Euro-American colonial garrison state. It cannot afford the tolerances its agents often pretend to represent as they lobby for arms and apology in foreign capitals; its primary population - an imaginary racial-religious construct born in the sordid pits of European nationalism - is inoculated against empathy or sympathy for the conquered peoples upon whose land and life blood it is daily built and expanded. This is done in Israeli schools, using Torah and Tanakh mythology as a replacement for historical study and inquiry. It is done in settler and sabra homes, in public displays of militarism, and in hundreds of synagogues. It is done during compulsory military service, complete with religious and ideological indoctrination, often devoted to maintaining the occupation of a conquered native people.
Nationalist fascism is its logical outcome, because it is and has always been conceived in terms of a racial and national project.
And as such, should be wiped from the face of the earth. As with all fascisms, it should be struck, resisted, overrun, decolonized and abolished.
By any means necessary. Without mercy or reprieve.

"...What sort of meager, unerotic existence must a man live to find himself moved to such ecstatic heights by the mundane sniping of a congressional budget fight. The fate of human existence does not hang in the balance. The gods are not arrayed on either side. Poseiden, earth-shaker, has regrettably set his sights on the poor fishermen of northern Japan and not on Washington, D.C. where his ire might do some good--I can think of no better spot for a little wetland reclamation project, if you know what I mean. The fight is neither revolution nor apocalypse; it is hardly even a fight. A lot of apparatchiks are moving a lot of phony numbers with more zeros than a century of soccer scores around, weaving a brittle chrysalis around a gross worm that, some time hence, will emerge, untransformed, still a worm." ~ IOZ

Yep. All governmental entities so constructed and run should be dismantled, but Israel sure is doing its part --in a yeoman's effort, I must say-- to earn the honor of being first in line.
A state is not a people. And a people is not even the people.
Do you have an opinion on what should follow? Obviously, it's not your responsibility to have one, but I'm curious. Would this follow a South African model? A Rhodesian one? After all, African race-states are the nearest example I can think of.
Since South Africa's Apartheid system is the closest analog to what is happening in Israel/Palestine. A lot would depend obviously on what a newly liberated Palestinian population would want. Whether or not that would be along the lines of a post-Apartheid South Africa is an open question.
Karl,
That's a truth. Wrote this "essay" with a wee bit of the anger. Means I didn't moderate myself.
Truth of it, though, is that the Israelis play the biggest part in their own coming nightmare.
It will not go well for anyone, I imagine sadly. Least off those who must pay for the accidents of their births.
Cuneyt,
I have opinions, but no solutions. We can talk of the difference between states and peoples, and even do so honestly - but that wouldn't change the terrible fact that the destruction of states first impacts the people captured by them. If the American government were to fall, it would not be the foremost benefactors of that state who would suffer its demise. They have their private equities, and their private protections. They have the accumulated wealth which has allowed them a state of their own, however often they name it by "consent of the governed." With that wealth they can and will purchase from among the agents of the collapsing state the guarantees of their own survival. It's what they already do. It's what allows them their ethic of domination.
Maybe what follows from this knowledge is the burden of responsibility. That those who believe revolution, resistance and insurrection - and on odd days I count myself in that number - do so justly only by the deliberate, conscious and faithful acceptance of the burden to provide, as best as possible, what respite as they can, however they can.
Don,
The Israelis are doing their best to ensure that any liberated Palestinian population will do its worst, and with no small amount of justification.
and even post apartheid Africa became neoliberal:

A fact, JM. But, not by accident or happenstance. The Chicagoists schemed it, and had the backing of the neoliberal American state, the UN and the overclass of South African society.
Jack, I find it tough to observe Israel's behavior and not get angry, most of the time.
At my most patient moments I see Israel as a fine example of what happens when a nation lets paranoia, murderous revenge passions rooted in generations past, and an unbridled material greed run the show.
They're the perfect laboratory for what the USA's puppeteers would like Murikkuh to become.
It is impossible for me to watch Israel, even at great distance and not wish that it be wiped off the map, at least a a political entity. If the people who live there want to go into a building to pray or ride a bus or whatever on Friday or Saturday or Sunday, or not at all, it should be their choice, not one dictated, let alone enforced by state. And that goes for the United States, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world and days of the week, as well.
But the mindblowing assertion that the IDF fired at the feet of unarmed demonstrators throwing rocks and trash over a fence claiming territory that does not belong to Israel should make everyone on earth infuriated.
I noticed that Egypt has more or less closed the Raffa gate as well and Hmas is doing the same from the other side. It is madness.
I agree Drip.
And Jack, I merely meant that the revolution you may hope for won't be entirely pure or complete; Mandela for instance immediately got aboard the capitalist love train. I'm glad apartheid ended, but the injustice didn't just stem from racial discrimination. Hell, Hamas said they'd be happy with 67 borders and nowadays. two states might be the only way this could be solved:

jm,
I honestly don't hope for a revolution for other peoples. Whenever I consider revolt, and usually from some moral remove, it is from the vantage of my own life. I'm wary of those who want others to take risks, to rebel, to engage in uprising. I think the Israeli nation state should be overrun, general struck, protested and ostracized until it collapses.
The revolution is up to the people of Palestine - Arabs and Jews - if they want it.
drip,
Agreed.
I think that Israel is already doomed. I think there is a good chance that this September the UN will recognize Palestine as a state which will be the beginning of the end for Israel though it is foolish to predict the future or at least the immediate future. But already there are signs that American/Israeli influence in the Arab world is waning. I think Netanyahu’s speech in front of congress has garnered Israel the wrong kind of attention and the reaction will go badly for Israel’s wish to prevent a Palestinian state. Places like Pakistan are now turning toward China offering them military bases, but not America. So as the American footprint fades so will Israel’s. How this will happen – fast or slow is anyone’s guess. But I do believe that their own heavy handed tactics and propensity for paranoid violence has sealed their fate. We need do nothing.

The problem with Israel is that it's a nuclear state, and has been big on 'scorched earth' policy for some time. Like the US, it's made way too many enemies to go down gently.
