...giving the big dogs a reason to chew on your hind legs doesn't result in the world you want. It makes them stronger. Don't try to bomb public spaces where you'll probably kill only yourself or some laborer on her way to a pay check that only rarely pays her bills. Don't burn bank workers and patrons alive. Ferchrissakes, don't burn people alive.
Stop it. Just stop.

"...What sort of meager, unerotic existence must a man live to find himself moved to such ecstatic heights by the mundane sniping of a congressional budget fight. The fate of human existence does not hang in the balance. The gods are not arrayed on either side. Poseiden, earth-shaker, has regrettably set his sights on the poor fishermen of northern Japan and not on Washington, D.C. where his ire might do some good--I can think of no better spot for a little wetland reclamation project, if you know what I mean. The fight is neither revolution nor apocalypse; it is hardly even a fight. A lot of apparatchiks are moving a lot of phony numbers with more zeros than a century of soccer scores around, weaving a brittle chrysalis around a gross worm that, some time hence, will emerge, untransformed, still a worm." ~ IOZ

i totally agree. if you wanna tear something down go after its foundation, because merely pissing on it, or hurting starngers won't do the job...
I think, generally, that "tearing down" is an invitation to murder.
Maybe not intentionally at first, but at some point (and the historical record seems to bear this out) people make the leap from resistance to murder.
Injured and murdered people have loved ones, friends, colleagues.
Who have loved ones, friends, colleagues.
Et cetera.
It's self isolating, this urge to burn, smash and do violence.
I understand it. Frustration and the feeling of degradation are powerful.
But, what's the end result - assuming even a temporary victory?
You seize a bunch of broken and half broken shit, or a degraded economic system - and then you have to become a repressive asshole yourself, to fix it and make it all work again - and this before you even begin your transformative or revolutionary program.
There has to be a better way.
